This recipe always cramps my sweet tooth and quenches my chocolate cravings. It is vegan and tastes like ice cream, although the texture is not the same. Depending on the size of the banana will depend on the thickness or "liquidy" consistency of the smoothie. Total calories - 206/230 Your option of peanut butter, but that's an extra 100 calories per Tablespoon
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup silk unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 3 frozen strawberries (choose between this and frozen fruit) or 1 tablespoon strawberry all-fruit spread (choose between this and frozen fruit)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- I use a Magic Bullet, but a food processor works too. Cut the banana in one inch rings and throw in with all ingredients. Blend until thick and creamy.
Great smoothie. More like a milkshake. I also love that it has no added sugar. Just the right amount of natural sweetness. Made for Spring 2013 PAC.
