  1. Place broccoli slaw in a bowl. Add onions and herbs and toss to combine. In a separate bowl, combine dressing ingredients until smooth. Add dressing to salad and toss. Chill. Divide between 6 plates and garnish with peanuts.

I gave this 3 since only 2 of 8 people liked it. I think it was the gingerroot that we did not like. It was really strong. If I try this again I will probably omit the cilantro and the gingerroot. I think those are the tastes that we did not like.

What a splendid idea for coleslaw! We don't have pre-made broccoli slaw available here so I just made my own with fresh broccoli, carrots, cabbage and kohlrabi. I left out the mint and tripled the cilantro. Love the taste of the fresh ginger (which I grated on my Microplane). Thanks for a fantastic recipe!
