I love the concept but sadly this just didn't work so well for me in practice. I followed the recipe right down the line and they did bake but the fries were soft and limp. I was expecting them to have at lease a firm if not rather crunchy exterior from the coating but the bran was still the same texture as when I coated the spuds. I'm sorry, I was prepared to love this recipe but it just didn't happen. Perhaps I should have just left them in the oven for another 10 mins but the rest of dinner ready to go so I just didn't have that extra time.
