I doubled this recipe and baked in a 9 X 13 dish for about 30 minutes. (I probably could've baked them for 5-10 minutes longer, but we like our brownies gooey). I used 1/2 regular cocoa powder and 1/2 special dark cocoa powder because we love the rich taste of dark chocolate. If you look at the posted picture, that is why the brownie looks so dark. I opted for using semi-sweet chocolate chips with no walnuts, so that my three boys would enjoy this wonderful treat. These brownies are fudgey, rich and extremely decadent!!! I could not wait for them to cool more than about 20 minutes, so ate a piece that was nice and warm. Yum! Thanks for another great recipe, Kit.
