    Directions:

      Mix in large stock pot and allow to simmer for 1/2 hour.

      Transfer to large crockpot and keep warm on low setting.

      Serve this straight from the crockpot.

      Our family was unanimous that this was a little too tart. I have a theory. I've lived in the North and in the South. I recall that when I lived in the south that apple cider was very sweet (almost like apple juice), whereas in the north it is naturally more tart. Perhaps because of the varieties of apples grown. Anyways, I ended up diluting the tartness of the lemon and orange juice by adding more cider after drinking the first cup.
