This recipe came from Husband's Aunt. Everytime I make this dessert, people ask for the recipe. It's easy to make and taste sooooo good!

Directions

  1. Bake Brownies with chopped pecans according to package directions.
  2. Cool.
  3. Make instant pudding according to package directions.
  4. Set to side.
  5. Crumble 1/2 of brownies in to glass bowl.
  6. Spread 1/2 of pudding on top of crumbled brownies.
  7. Spread 1/3 of chopped candy bars on top of pudding.
  8. Spread 1/2 of Cool-whip on top of candy bars.
  9. Repeat layers.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining candy.
  11. HINT: I use 2 sm boxes of instant chocolate fudge pudding sometimes for extra chocolate punch.

Made this for girls' night, and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! I omitted the pecans and used Godiva brownie mix with chocolate chips (never too much chocolate!) and it was delicious!

This is a real crowd pleaser. I have made this same thing (even calling it the same name!), but use a chocolate cake mix in a 9X13 pan rather than the brownie mix. After taking the cake from the over, I score the top of it with a fork and pour 1 cup of Kahlua over it. Marvelous! Thanks for sharing Kathy!

I have this recipe and every time I make it it gets raves. It looks like I fussed, but it's really pretty easy.
