This was pretty good. DH prefers his steak just plain but I enjoyed having something different. Not sure it's worth the effort if only one of us is going to like it.people found this review Helpful. I made this for my hubby's valentine dinner. Since it was a work night and I needed something I could prepare quickly, but had the richness and elegance of a timely preparation, I chose this. It took less than 30 minutes to prepare and I highly recommend it to the novice cook. My hubby said 5 stars. I am not a big steak lover, but I thought it was good. I used beef tenderloin in place of the NY strips. I served this with potato fans. Recipe #33929 and roasted brussel sprouts. Needless to say, it was a great beginning to a romantic night in our house. Thanks, Millie.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... This was so simple to do but so tasty, just loved it. I used sirloin steaks, and used Jack Daniel's as that is what I had. Must admit used to cook something very similar years ago and this brought back memories. Thanks for the memories.people found this review Helpful.
