  2. Sift dry ingredients together.
  3. Cream sugars, shortening and eggs.
  4. Add sifted dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  6. Spread evenly on ungreased cookie sheet or jelly roll pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Cut in squares when cool.
