A delicious and easy recipe to make, i used low fat coolwhip and it was still great!.
Don't really know how to rate this recipe. DH ate one spoon full , I used cool whip : because I had it on hand, DD (4 years old) said she only liked the cream part and I do not eat cool whip so I didn't try it. I used nice soft Iranian dates, no sugar as I believe cool whip has some.
tthis is so good saw picture on the vegatarian site under zaar 6 tour saw your name and knew it was good
Fantastic!!! I first made this many years ago when I was cooking a series of international meals (just for fun--and because I wanted to know what the rest of the world ate). This recipe was listed in one of the international cookbooks as "Egyptian"--so it became the dessert for my Egyptian meal. I don't know how authentically Egyptian it is, but it was one of the best desserts of the series--super easy and totally delicious! Thanks so much for posting this wonderful recipe Engrossed!!!
I used grated fresh nutmeg instead of the cinnamom. I loved that it was delicious and a breeze to prepare.
I made this a while ago but have just gotten around to reviewing it now. Since first tagging this recipe I've now made it about 5 or 6 times, it's so easy and delicious! It was the perfect dessert to serve to a table full of guests on Passover. Thanks, I will be making this many times!
Super simple & very delicious! Thank you for posting this!
This made a nice dessert for us tonight. Easy and not too filling...just perfect. Thanks for posting!
It doesn't get a whole lot easier than this! Great combo of flavors and textures. I enjoyed this very much. I thought maybe a little toasted coconut would be a nice addition as well. Thanks for sharing, Nick's Mom
