Bergy, I made this with honey and ground cloves. I put a dollop of this on some hot oatmeal then added a splash of light cream. It tasted like date squares. I'm having breakfast more often! Thanks for posting. Barb
I made this with honey and the ground cloves like Barbara suggested and it was delish!! I have this with natural yogurt for breakfast or as a dessert or anytime i'm passing the fridge and can't resist it!! ;-)
The best stewed rhubarb I have ever tasted. I didn't have quite enough soft Parnoosh dates so I added a bit of date syrup/molasses, the whole cloves, plus creamed honey to keep it healthy and the orange. I love the flavour that added.
