      I made these yesterday and am so glad I did. They were so good! The only addition I made was to add 1 c. nuts that I chopped up fine in the blender, and mixed them in with the oats, then proceeded as the recipe said. They came out perfect! Loved the flavors of the fruit and nuts along with the oats. This recipe is a real GEM! Thanks for sharing Kim!

      For the dates I used half Deglet Noor (firm & less expensive, pitted) & half Medjool (soft & tastier, but needed to be pitted), then followed directions! Don't know for sure, but I think it was the lemon & orange juice that helped give these bars such a great taste! And, by the way, the recipe won't serve 24 people ~ It'll serve ONE PERSON twelve times! Many thanks for posting! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's PAC]
