A quick no-bake treat, ideal as edible gifts too.
- 1 kg dates, seeded and broken into small pieces
- 400 g sweetened condensed milk
- 250 g mixed dried fruit, chopped
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- Place all ingredients, except coconut in a non-stick pan and cook till thick(the mixture begins to collect in the center)
- When cool enough to handle, shape into rolls of desired thickness.
- Coat the rolls with the coconut and chill.
- When desired, cut into slices and serve.
