I used whole wheat, unbleached flour and increased the amount of milk to 1 1/2 cup as the flour is more absorbent. Between two of us the loaf was nibbled to nothing in one day. I love that the only oils come from the dates and nuts.

  1. Beat eggs add sugar.
  2. Add nut meats broken and dates cut in pieces.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to first mixture.
  4. Turn into greased pan.
  5. Bka e350 degrees for 45 minutes.
