This is totally delicious!! Not only are the dates, golden raisins, and walnuts great together--the little bit of lemon rind and cinnamon adds a kind of old world quality that's just wonderful! I scaled the recipe down to 1/2 cup and minced everything by hand (since I don't have a food processor); then used it as the date filling for 24 cookies of Date Filled Cookie Log (which I've also reviewed). Perfect!! This recipe is most definitely a keeper! Thanks for posting it, Sue L!!
