This is considered a national Bermudian drink, second only to the Rum Swizzle. It's origins stem from the highly successful ginger beer factory in Bda!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 ounces gosling black seal rum (to taste)
  • 6 ounces barritts ginger beer (or other spicy ginger beer as a substitute, to taste)

Directions

  1. Simply add the rum to the chilled ginger beer according to your taste and tolerance.
  2. Serve on the rocks!

Delicious! We used Gosling Rum and Gosling Ginger Beer. We all loved this drink!

Such a great drink! Used Black Seal rum - my all time favorite - & the Barritts. I had made these years ago at Ocean City, MD, based on the rec of a little liquor store owner in DE (no sales tax LOL). Had forgotten about them - everyone really enjoyed them - we served w/o ice & they were FAB!
