  • 2 cups hershey dark chocolate chips
  • 34 cup whipped cream
  • Coatings of your choice

  • chopped nuts or powdered sugar

directions

  • Combine chips and whip cream in microwave bowl.
  • Microwave for 1 minute.
  • Stir.
  • If needed,microwave at 15 seconds more, stirring after each additional 15 sec.
  • till melted and smooth.
  • Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • Roll into 1" balls in coating.
  • Cover and store in fridge.

  1. They were a little stiff and not "truffley" but still tastey. I rolled half in powdered sugar and half in chocolate sprinkles. I also dipped a few in some chocolate or coated them in shaved chocolate.

  4. Great easy treat. Before stirring the microwaved mixture I added 2 drops of peppermint extract. I rolled the balls in a mixture of powdered sugar and a little cocoa powder. It made mild minty truffles. Great for an after dinner mint.
     
  5. This was absolutely yum! I rolled these little delights in chopped almonds. My family enjoyed them! Thanks so much for a simple and easy to fix treat! Will make again!

I'm 65 years old and have been cooking since I was 10. My first meal was Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. My mother talked me through everything. She hated to cook. I'm completely the opposite, I love to cook and try different things. been married for 42 years and have 3 kids. Two girls and a boy, four grandchildren that I spoil rotten. Had a stroke 1 year ago but it's not stopping me. My second love is camping.
