- 3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1⁄4 cups granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter, cut into pieces
- 3 tablespoons water
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8-inch-square baking pan. Set aside 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Microwave baking chocolate, 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips, butter and water in glass bowl ,checking and stirring every 30 seconds until chocolate and butter are smooth and melted.
- Pour melted mixture into medium bowl stir in sugar, then eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla extract. Add flour and salt, stir well. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Pour into prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly stick. Cool on wire rack before cutting.
