Very, very nice topping for almost any dessert, I'd think! I doubled the recipe & we've absolutely loved it over pancakes in the morning & frozen yogurt (along with a bit of chocolate fudge sauce) in the evening! Definitely a keeper of a recipe! Ingredients Nutrition

  • 15 12 ounces cherries, a can of pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup
  • 12 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Directions

  1. Strain syrup from can of cherries into a medium saucepan.
  2. Boil until reduced by half.
  3. Stir in cherries, whipping cream and sugar and boil 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  4. Serve at room temperature.
