  1. My mom used to make this every summer. It's really rich, so a little serving goes a long way. I prefer to cool it completely, then cover it and put it in the refrigerator. Before serving, I sometimes top with Cool Whip or Redi Whip. Great to take to get-togethers, this is something most people haven't heard of. Also, the crater appearance is why it's called a Wasp's Nest, the morsels make it look kind of like a hive. With the whipped topping the cake is almost the height a a risen cake.

  2. I thought this was great. It took on a "crater" like appearance when cooked. I really liked the butterscotch instead of chocolate. Served with a bit of whipped cream it was a terrific dessert. . . with leftovers to freeze!!

  3. I'm kind of not sure what I want to say about this recipe. It was just "okay".Certainly different so I thought I'd give it a try.It dried out very quickly after baking which I think takes away from the appeal of the cake.It was also very sweet and didn't rise much.Sorry I couldn't give a better rating!!
