  • In a saucepan, combine water and butter, cook till butter is melted.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and salt all at once, stirring vigorously. Cook stirring constantly, till mixture forms a ball that does not seperate.
  • Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in parsley.
  • Drop dumplings by tablespoonfuls into hot soup. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

  1. I love dumplings and these are different and delicious! I heated a quart of Recipe #55282 and cooked up a batch of these yummy dumplings. I added 1/2 tsp of dill with the parsley. They puffed up nicely and were very light and feathery. Thanks for posting Silly Yak Yak Yak. Made for When It's Hot Tag Game.
