Easy dip for any great party.
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 -2 tablespoon maple syrup
- In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, sugars and syrup (to taste); beat until smooth.
- Serve with fresh fruit.
Quick, simple and tasty. I did have some difficulty combining the cream cheese with the other ingredients. It never seemed to get smooth and therefore, there were very small "chunks" of cream cheese throughout the dip. The taste is nice and went well with the oranges I served. We had this as dessert.
I made this sugar free by using splenda, sugar-twin brown sugar and Log Cabin's sugar free maple syrup to take to a family Christmas gathering tomorrow but I had to taste it. It's wonderful, now I'm not sure there will be any left for the family tomorrow. Great dish and I would highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a different fruit dip.
