This syrup works on anything but especially on Daddy's Apple Pancakes! It has a "fall flavour".
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄3 cup skim milk
- Mix everything together except milk.
- Bring to a full boil, then cook for 3 minutes more.
- Remove from burner and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Whisk in milk slowly.
- Serve warm.

I went in search of a pancake syrup without brown sugar. I pulled this one up and it sounded good so I thought I would give it a try. Wow, if I could give it more stars I would. I left out the ginger on accident but when I make this again i probably won't add it. It was perfect. My girls really enjoyed this as well.
