So yummy and easy to make, However I cheated and used the Kitchen Aid, which made it very smooth and lump free. I have been craving custard but I refuse to pay $6.00 at the local grocery store. WOW - This would make a really quick and wonderful dessert for company or picky grandchildren. Thank you so much for posting. I'm re-posting for my Facebook Buddies!
this turned out fabulous though I did have to put it in for a minute longer but I think that is because I added the vanilla too soon otherwise awesome recipe thank you for posting!!!
Next time I might use a little less sugar - I found it a bit too sweet - but otherwise, impossible to complain. I made this on the stove and it was easy. I don't think I'll be buying custard powder again!

I made this today and it is simply yummy. It is so easy to make and I love that I don't have to worry about lumps or scorching. I had some bananas that needed to be used so made banana pudding. If the egg yolks hadn't broken and got a bit in the whites, I would have made meringue to go on top. Instead, I just crushed one of the Vanilla Wafers and sprinkled the top with that. I think I'll skip dinner and just go to dessert first. Thanks for posting this!
