I did not like it so much. I thought it was bland. I sprinkled some brown sugar on top and broiled it for a sec after first trying it and that was a bit better.

  1. Beat eggs slightly, add Sugar, salt and vanilla extract, Mix.
  2. Add hot milk, slowly, pour into unbaked pie shell, one quart per pie.
  3. Sprinkle nutmeg over top of pie.
  4. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 F and bake for 20 minutes, or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and center comes out clean.
  5. Cool to below 41 f within 4 hours.
