Make and share this Curzan Seasoning (St Croix) recipe from Food.com.
- grind together in mortar and pestle.
- store in an air-tight container.
I like trying different spice and herb combinations and this one is nice. I used it on fresh Tilapia filets and was not dissapointed.
I didn't have a mortar and pestle, but I did have a spice grinder that accomplished almost the same result. All my spices come from my greenhouse, except of course, for the salt & pepper. I took the dried herbs, mashed them between my hands first and then sent the in with salt & pepper. I used this mix on top of some chicken that I grilled outside and now I have the best seasoning in all the world. Made for Everyday is a Holiday June 2009.
