Slightly spicy rice dish. I recommend using long grain/brown rice.

  1. Saute diced vegetables with butter.
  2. Add rice, cold water, chicken base, garlic & curry powder.
  3. Bring to a simmer, then simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat. Mix in chopped parsley and sliced almonds. Sprinkle with (lots of) lemon juice!
