I tried this and I must say it's not really my thing. This is a recipe that requires the eater to REALLY love tofu. Although I like tofu, I like it mixed in with my food (as I learned from this recipe). Having said that, I thought the spice combo was good.

I really liked the flavor of this tofu, but I think I should have followed Vino's review and salted the tofu after taking it out of the pan. I may try baking it next time, too, it was a bit greasy, could be my oil wasn't hot enough. I will be making it again, though. Thank you.

I really liked this and am just starting to like tofu. I am doing a low carb diet and used grated parm cheese instead of the flour and this was tasty!

Excellent!! I drain my tofu and leave it wrapped in a kitchen towel in the fridge overnight to dry out a little. I increased the amount of curry powder, cooked it in 1 tbs. grapeseed oil (instead of olive oil and omitted butter completely) and salted the tofu after removing it from the pan. Wonderful flavor! I'll be making this again!

I made this for breakfast this morning. I LOVE the addition of the fresh lemon juice. Don't omit it! Hot pepper would be a good addition next time since I like my food spicy. I'll be making this again.

These were really good...I bet I'll make them again tomorrow night. I made changes as follows - I used half as much butter and oil (I used a non stick pan), I cut the tofu in 3 slices, and I used frozen, thawed, and squeezed-out tofu (I like the texture better that way). I'll probably add a little more salt to the dredging mix next time...otherwise perfect. Thanks!

This is basically the same recipe we use for the ever-popular "tofu breakfast cutlets" in our household! (I hadn't thought of using sage though!) Thanks for sharing your recipe. PS The lemon juice is a nice touch!cg ;)
