Loved this recipe! My curry had a little spiciness to it, it really hit the spot on a cold night!

Great! I used 2 tablespoons of curry because I like heavily spiced food. I also garnished this with low-fat sour cream and cilantro. Thanks for posting!

After coming in out of the cold today this soup was a great way to warm up. It was cheap to make, and the recipe was very simple. I actually looked up this episode on youtube and watched Alton make it along with me. I didn't use a blender but instead just mashed it with a slotted spoon a little(you use what you got). Next time i think i will throw some carrots in there

This was really good. I made it really simple by putting all ingredients in my crockpot and cooking for about 5 hours on low, then warm until dinner time. I pureed it right before serving. I used Homemade Curry Powder for the curry, it was great! My boyfriend is not usually a fan of split peas, but really enjoyed this recipe. Thank you.

i have made this several times now and hubby and I love it- a wonderful warm cozy soup. Not that there is a lot of olive oil- but if you sweat the onion in a little of the veggie stock the soup is even healthier! WONDERFUL!
