  • 226.79 g cream cheese, softened (low fat OK)
  • 236.59 ml chicken, finely minced (Swanson canned chicken works well, but this is great for using leftovers)
  • 177.44 ml slivered almonds
  • 78.78 ml mayonnaise
  • 29.58 ml mango chutney, large pieces minced
  • 14.79 ml curry powder (you can use more if you wish)
  • 1.23 ml salt
  • shredded coconut and chopped parsley (to garnish)

directions

  • Combine all ingredients except for the garnishes.
  • Chill well, at least 2 hours, to allow flavors to blend.
  • Mound on a serving plate and cover with coconut and parsley.
  • Serve with your favorite cracker.
  • There are rarely leftovers, but if there are, this makes a pretty decent spread for a toasted bagel.

  1. I served this at New Year's Eve and no one touched it. Altho I like curry, it is a luminescent yellow which I think scares people away. I also think the cream cheese makes it too gummy and heavy - I would rather have it with a little mayo a/o sour cream.
