- 907.18 g boneless beef stew meat, trimmed of fat and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 907.18 g red potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 177.44 ml mango chutney or 177.44 ml dried fruit chutney
- 59.14 ml raisins
- 44.37 ml quick mixing flour, such as Wondra Flour
- 236.59 ml water
- 4.92 ml beef bouillon granules
- 22.18-29.58 ml Madras curry powder
- 2.46 ml ground ginger
- 2.46 ml garlic powder
- 1.23 ml fresh ground pepper
- 2.46 ml salt
- 473.18 ml frozen green peas, thawed
directions
- In 4 or 5 quart electric slow cooker, mix together all the ingredients except the peas.
- Cover and cook on the low heat setting 7-8 hours or until the beef and potatoes are tender but not falling apart, stirring once during the cooking time, if possible.
- Stir in the peas, cover, and cook 15 minutes longer.
