      In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and salt.

      Add cucumbers and onions; stir to coat.

      Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

      My mom made this while I was growing up, minus the onions. Delish. Making it again today!

      It works better if you slice the cukes and onions, add salt and let them sit for awhile to get the water out. Squeeze them and then add the rest of the ingredients. I also make this with vinegar and oil, salt and pepper.

      Wow! This recipe is out of this world. It was easy to make. My DH loves cucumbers and I made this recipe for him and he absolutely loved it. The only problem, was I didn't make enough. I will definately make this recipe again and again. Thanks Marg for a great recipe!!
