This is based on the recipe on the Jose Cuervo Sweet & Sour bottle. It's perfect! My mom discovered it.

  1. Use the lime wedge to moisten the rim of your glass. Dip the glass lightly into the salt.
  2. Add the ice to your glass. Pour in the sweet and sour mix, tequila, and triple sec. Garnish with the lime wedge, or squeeze into your glass. You can add a splash of sweetened lime juice if you like, but I prefer it without.

Nice quick and easy margarita. I used Homemade Sweet-And-Sour Mix in place of the Cuervo. I added a little more sweet/sour mix and skipped the salt (not a fan of salt on my 'ritas). Thanks for sharing! [Made for Spring 2013 Pick A Chef]

This was a tasty cocktail, tart with a burst of classic margarita flavor. There was a little more tart than sweet though, and we tend to prefer our margaritas with just a touch more sweet. But that's a pretty easy fix, so I will definitely make this lovely drink again. Thanks for sharing your cocktail recipe, WillsMommy. Made for Fall 2011 Pick-A-Chef.
