Wonderful snack for anyone who likes vinegar, onions and garlic! This recipe is only for one cucumber, adjust quantity as desired.


  1. Put cucumbers, garlic, and onion in a bowl.
  2. Pour in vinegar and water until covering cucumbers, at a 3-1 ratio between vinegar and water.
  3. (3parts vinegar for every part water).
  4. Allow to marinate overnight before serving.

This is the only way to eat cucumbers in vinegar!!!! (why add sugar to a perfectly good pickle?) My husband loves this recipe now that he is on a low salt diet.

This is the exact recipe I use for cucumbers. I have saved a huge pickle jar so that I can make them and store them for lunch every day in the summer. Thanks for posting this wonderful recipe.

This is a great cucumber dish. I have made cucumbers similar to this but I never marinated them overnight. This is a great make-ahead dish for when you have company. We really enjoy these, Shjya, thanks for sharing.
