This is a salad, I think everyone has had. Especially good with garden fresh vegetables. Keeps in the fridge well, and continue adding cucumbers as needed.

  1. Slice cucumbers very thinly into a bowl. Stir together sour cream, vinegar, and dill. Pour over cucumbers.
  2. Stir and chill.

I have english cuccumbers fresh from our garden. We have really been enjoying this recipe. Made just like recipe stated with the addition of thin sliced red onion, YUMMY. Thanks for sharing!

This is a recipe I grew up enjoying! So refreshing in the summertime. My mother always added thinly sliced onion and treated the cucumbers and salt exactly the same way as chardman. It really does keep excess moisture out of the dressing.
