So easy, so good. I made it on Sunday & had some with lunch today. They are crunchy & crisp. Be sure to press the cukes as the recipe says to get excess water out, I dried the cukes after rinsing them. As suggested let them sit at least a couple of days Thanks Chia very good recipe
I like this at lot. I use white onion because I always had a cucumber and white onion salad as a kid. This has nice flavor and is a good thing to have to augment meals.
This was very quick and easy to make, very few ingredients, and was refreshing and delicious. It keeps well and gets better as it sits for a while. Very nice recipe, a keeper!
The fam loved this, just the right amount of sweet and sour.
What makes this different from the one I have made for years is the salting and pressing of the cucumbers, a wonderful recipe made all the better by a change in technique. Made and reviewed to celebrate the wonderful life of chia / Sandy will be thinking of you every I make this, rest in peace.
Simple, easy and very tasty. Made just as stated and used 1/2 teaspoon dill. The proportion vinegar-sugar was very well balanced, not too tangy, not too sweet. All in all a perfect recipe.
Thanks for posting.
Simple and delicious! I put in the red onions even though I don't like raw ones. I'm glad I did, it wouldn't have been the same!
This turned out great even tho I messed it up and put 1 1/2 tsp. to much sugar in it! Thanks!
Thank you Chia for this recipe. My daughter eats the cucumber and my husband eats the onion. There was none left.
