- 2 medium cucumbers, peeled, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 medium tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 serrano chili, seeded and minced
- 1 1⁄2 cups plain nonfat yogurt
- 1⁄4 cup finely chopped of fresh mint
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin seed, toasted
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir well.
- Cover and chill for an hour.
Great on a terribly hot summer afternoon, goes well with Vegetarian Biryani and even with a spicy curry!
