Love this recipe! Great idea to pound the flank steak. Made it nice and tender. The marinade is so quick and easy. We loved the salsa. Great flavor combination! Served this with cuban beans and rice and a green salad. I had cut our steak in half and froze one half with the marinade. Looking forward to having this again!

This was so delicious and flavorful, with the marinade really tenderizing the meat beautifully. I had to use skirt steak, since my supermarket was out of flank steak, but it worked out perfectly. While the salsa was good, I found that most people didn't eat much of it, but just concentrated on the steak! That's the star here. Made by a Tasty Tester for ZWT9.

This was positively delicious, diner524. The citrus/onion salsa really added a wonderful touch to the beef. I will most definitely make this again. It's easy to prepare too, so it wouldn't be difficult to plan this for a busy night using the broiler. Made for ZWT9 (Caribbean).

The steak had plenty of flavor from the marinade, even with a short time marinating. Loved the orange salsa, it does taste better with time. I recommend you make it in the morning and refrigerate it until serving time. This gives it more time for the flavors to marry.
