  1. Cut the recipe in half and put in a plastic container in the fridge. Served like a pudding with crushed graham crackers - yum!! Will make again.

  2. This is so easy and refreshing! A great recipe for making in the RV. I only made one pie, and the little store near where were staying only had raspberry-lemonade Crystal Light. I used 1/2 tub, but after I tasted the mixture, I added the rest of the tub, since it wasn't as tart as the regular lemonade. I think this would work with some of the other flavors, also! I also used sugar-free Cool Whip. Thanks for a light dessert!

  3. This is super easy to make and very tasty! Even my son who is a picky eater loved it. I have a wheat allergy so I made one pie for the rest of the family and I made one "pie" without crust (ate it as pudding) with blueberries on top as my dessert and it was wonderful.

  4. Made this last minute for the 4th as our plans to travel fell through. This was a yummy pie that I topped with raspberries and blackberries to make it a bit more festive. Thank you!

  5. My girls and I just loved this! Okay, it's actually still in the fridge chilling, but we licked the bowl when we made the filling, and we all loved it! The girls are 4 and 5 years old and enjoyed helping me stir this together. I was tempted to replace the vanilla pudding with lemon, as one reviewer suggested, but since I made this for 'please review my recipe,' opted to follow the recipe as written, and I am glad I did. The sweet of the vanilla and the tanginess of the lemon crystal light blend together into something fabulous! I used a generic brand light whipped topping, and the reduced fat version of the keebler ready crust. I am thoroughly impressed by this, because I really cannot stand crystal light because of the heavy aftertaste of the artificial sweetner, but the other ingredients in this filling cover it enough that I can really enjoy it! The sweetness of the vanilla pudding should also balance this enough to make it a hit for my husband, who is not a big fan of lemonade. I'd like to try this with other flavor combinations of pudding and crystal light. Maybe the cheesecake flavored pudding and the raspberry crystal light? Thanks for a great recipe! UPDATE: My husband likes it too! :)

Tweaks

  1. YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!! :-) We love anything Lemon. Had to try this right away! I cut the recipe in half and to further increase the lemon flavor used lemon pudding instead of vanilla! :-) I am going to serve it as a mousse with "sugared lemon zest" sprinkled on top. Thanks for a wonderful treat! :-)

I have two boys Eddie 18 and Brandon 10. I have been with my hubby for 16 years. I work full time outside the home and my boys keep me busy at home. Eddie is a singer and base guitar player in a band and Brandon races go karts. We also have a Collie/Beagle mix named Sugar. I love to cook and try out new recipes. My family likes it too but at times ask my to make just "normal" food, as I forget sometimes to make my own TNT recipes. I cook a lot with with my crock pot as it makes life a lot easier for me. I am always on the look out for new crock pot recipes. I'm not much of a baker as I don't like to measure things. I collect cookbooks and recipes in general. I usually start with a recipe and tweak to my families liking. My Rating System: 5 Stars = The whole family enjoyed the dish and it will be added to my TNT cookbook. Book #220911. These recipes will be made again and again. 4 Stars = Recipe was good, but needed some modifications or it was good but not something we would want on a regular basis. Also goes into my TNT-4 star recipe cookbook. Book #220912 3 Stars = It was edible, but won't be made again. 2 Stars = Needs some kind of major adjustments. 1 Stars = Inedible, didn't work, waste of ingredients.
