I don't *love* quiche, as a rule, but I occasionally make it because it's cheap, easy, and nutritious. This quiche, however, is WONDERFUL! Not only did I love it, the picky 3-yr old, who doesn't eat green things or protein foods, asked for seconds. Best quiche I've ever made.

I add a variety of other veggies like mushrooms, squash, cauliflower, broccoli and saut? them with the onions. I use 10 oz of fresh spinach instead of frozen and wilt it in the pan with the other veggies at the end. I sometimes add fresh chopped tomatoes when mixing everything together before it goes in the oven. I usually have to cook it 30 - 40 minutes longer than the recipe says. Usually when the top is browned and knife comes out clean. I like to make this using Jumbo Silicon Muffin Cups and store individually in sandwich bags in the fridge. A great garb and go breakfast.

Just made this and ate it for dinner. It is fantastic!! This will be a new staple for me and I am looking forward to having it for breakfast as well!!

Absolutely delicious! I made it today for a brunch party at my place and the whole dish was finished. Even kids who made a face at the idea of spinach loved it! I double the recipe and left out the bacon and it turned out excellent. Have already forwarded link to several guests who wanted to know the recipe. Thank you! This will now be a staple dinner/breakfast/brunch item in our house!

This was an excellent dish! I wanted something that was easy to throw together but still low in carbs. This was super easy! I made it the night before and then heated it up on 325 degrees for 15 mins in the morning. I shared some with a few co-workers since it's just me and my daughter and it's 8 servings. I tweaked it a bit by adding about a tablespoon of Franks Hot Sauce (I really do put that sh*t on everything!), a teaspoon of tarragon, I used fresh bagged spinach instead of frozen and I topped it off with freshly grated parmesan. It was very very good and even my teen daughter loved it and she's not big on anything except Ramen Noodles and Double Cheeseburgers.

I loved this recipe! I only used a 1/2 package of center cut bacon and sautéed the garlic and onion in the bacon drippings. I think this would be great with white cheddar, but I also liked the swiss! I served it with roasted asparagus and hollandaise sauce! It was so good, my husband and I only had a few pieces left this morning- and he dug into it before he left for work! Will definitely make again :)

Love this recipe! I made this this morning and the only changes i made were to add about 3 more eggs and another half cup of Cream. along with some fresh mushrooms.(I did this to make the recipe go a little farther) I cooked it in a separated brownie pan and they came out fantastic. going to be bringing for breakfast all week. this one will go into my favorites and be used for many years! Thanks gracefire, for posting.

Easy, and as others have said a great base recipe - so easy to add any of your favorites to. I did 2 changes, first used fresh spinach from the garden and second made in individual ramekins, it puffed up so pretty and enjoyed all the flavors. Looks impressive enough for a company dish.
