I found this on another site, but I don't know who posted it first. I haven't tried it yet, but at least 6 other posters raved about it. . .

  1. Preheat oven to 325º.
  2. Grease and flour bundt pan.
  3. Combine butter and shortening in mixer bowl.
  4. Add eggs and blend well.
  5. Add other ingredients.
  6. Beat on medium speed for 10 minutes.
  7. Pour into pan.
  8. Bake 70 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool in pan 10 minutes.

This cake has a great crunchy top and the flavor was good also.

Nice slighty almondy flavor. Crisp outside, tender inside. Good recipe!
