- 200 g eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups whole milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups honey corn flakes or 1 1⁄2 cups reg. corn flakes
- Beat eggs until thick, Add sweetned condensed milk Add vanilla Stir in the cornflakes cereal Pour into a baking tin.
- Bake at 350 degree F.
- for 20- 30 minutes, until set.
- Drizzle with 2 tbsp.
- liquid orange blossom honey.
- Serve as a pudding.
A very nice simple little dessert. I used regular corn flakes and forgot to drizzle the honey, but no-one seemed to mind. I served it with fresh whipped cream.
I made this for our dessert last evening, and this was superb! What a nice change from regular bread pudding. This has a great flavor and pudding texture. We scooped it right out of the baking dish, into fruit nappe dessert bowls. I recommend this dessert and will be adding it to my family's special dessert recipes.
This is a wonderful dessert I have made today to serve tomorrow for my mom's birthday dinner! I used Rainbow evaporated milk as a substitute for whole milk. I made this using ordinary corn flakes since I had some of that on hand that I have to use up before leaving for my holiday on the 17th to the US. This pudding took longer to bake for me than the recipe states. I baked this at 180C for 40 minutes. Even then, the center of this pudding wasn't set, but because I was afraid I might burn the whole pudding, I did not bake it any further beyond 40 minutes. I inverted it onto a plate, then flipped it over onto another plate, drizzled it with plain honey. This will taste good when served hot! Thanks for sharing!
