Sometimes I call it the white salad. It is what it is- crunchy- yummy- and super healthy. All of the main ingredients are super foods!
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 2 granny smith apples, chopped
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 1⁄2 cup slivered almonds
- white raisins
- Combine all ingredients and serve.
Oh my gosh this is delicious. It just as stated, fresh, crunchy and yummy. I can see this becoming a standard around here in the summer months. I added a bit of grated carrot and red cabbage that I had already mixed. It's a keeper! Made for PAC, Spring 2011.
