This is out of a cookbook from 1942.
- 1 orange, rind of, grated
- 1 teaspoon brandy
- 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 egg yolk, lightly beat
- confectioners' sugar (aprox 1-1 1/2 cups)
- Add grated rind to the brandy and fruit juices.
- Add slowly to yolk.
- Beat in sugar till spreading consistency.
