I had some apples to use (mostly granny smith), so I went with this. I felt it was a tad too much lemon juice, next time I'd mix the lemon juice with water and dip the apples before cooking instead of having so much juice in the crock pot. Good amount of sweetness and spice though. Thanks Trnquilit! Made for PAC 2012
- 3 lbs tart apples, peeled cored & sliced
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
