This is a soup one of my sisters makes every year for our "Sisters Get-together" at the lake. This soup is very rich and makes a large pot.
- 4 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of potato soup
- 2 cups cooked wild rice
- 1 pint half-and-half or 1 pint cream
- 2 quarts milk
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 lb bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1 (16 ounce) packagehot Velveeta Mexican cheese
- Mix all ingredients into a crock pot.
- Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 2-3 hours.
