Very good crockpot chili. I added two jalapeños to mine!
Really quite good. I didn't have enough turkey so I did sub some chicken thighs. I love the taste of the New Mexico chili so I put in one large and one smallish size peppers. Thanks for posting
I realize that when the title is "Turkey Chili", one shouldn't try it with other meats... but we have ground venison and pork, so it morphed. Made it very close to recipe, except used a small can of tomato paste and then water to make up for the 29 oz can of tomato sauce... used dehydrated onion bits instead of a real one... more garlic because we have a Garlic Obsession... one can of kidney beans, one can of black beans... and nixed the hot red chili pepper flakes because of children. But this was very very good and I thank you much for posting it!!!
Fantastic turkey chili! I added extra beans (a can), but followed exactly otherwise. I used hickory liquid smoke. Good stuff! Made for 1-2-3 Hits! Tag Game, 2/10/09 - NELady.
This was one good chili!! I did use half turkey and half beef meat and didn't use any liquid smoke as I didn't have any. Also added one more can of beans as I wanted to thicken the chili. Thanks mikekey for an easy tasty chili recipe!
OH MY GOODNESS! This is a fantastic chili!!! I couldn't resist sneaking a taste before I served it to my friends at our Poker Party and I think I'm in love. Even straight out of the crockpot this has a nice "heat" so I'm sure it will only get better the next day. (If there are any leftovers, which I'm thinking there won't be.) ;) I used 1 can of kidney beans, 1 can of black beans and kept everything else the same. I will serve this with Aunt Bev's Hominy. Thanks for posting another GREAT recipe, mikekey!
