Versatile,Quick, Easy & Healthy, this Salsa Chicken can be served as it is with Spanish rice or wrapped in soft or hard taco shells. You could also use it in a soup, quesadilla, on top of nachos or as a sandwich.
- 1 -1 1⁄2 lb chicken breast, Bonless, Skinles
- 1⁄4 cup taco seasoning
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup salsa verde
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

- In crock pot:.
- Sprinkle chicken on both sides with taco seasoning ( you will not use the whole 1/4 cup). Pour tomatoes & salsa over chicken & add salt & remaining taco seasoning. Cook on low until falling apart (about 6 hours).
- Please note that depending on which salsa & tomatoes you use you may need to add more or less of the taco seasoning & salt. These measurements were specific to the products I used. Enjoy!
