These were fabulous! My and my husband loved them! The only change I made was putting 1 tsp of garlic and no ginger.
Our family enjoyed this recipe. For five stars we would reduce the brown sugar a bit, add more garlic and maybe a bit of hot sauce for some kick.
This was awesome! The only thing I did different was to remove the ribs when they were cooked and whisk in some cornstarch (suspended in cold water) to thicken it. Then I added fresh pineapple pieces. Heaven!!!

My hubby usually likes my cooking, but this time, when he finished eating he picked up his plate and drank the lefover sauce like it was milk in a cereal bowl! Then he made sure scraped any sauce from the crockpot so he could use it for a dipping sauce on something later. For the vinegar, I did sub 1 Tbsp of rice wine vinegar and used red wine vinegar for the rest, as I wasn't sure what kind to use, and I added a few drops of sesame oil, just because I put that in just about every asian recipe I make. Thanks for a WONDERFUL recipe. I'm making it again for company on Tuesday and I know they'll all be licking their fingers!
I made this with chicken wings and everyone loved it. I followed the recipe, and it was so easy. The ingredients really mix together nicely. I will definitely keep this one handy. Thanks!
This recipe was wonderful! Great flavor, but may add more heat next time. Also, I used chicken thighs and it does not take 8 hours on low. Start checking after 4 hours for doneness or chicken will be hard.
