My DH really liked this spaghetti sauce. It was a little too thick for my taste - and I generally like a thick and hearty sauce. When I was adding all the ingredients to the crock pot, I kept thinking, where's the water? Anyway, this sauce was cooked on low , and in 5 hours it was ready to go. Unfortunately, that was 1 oclock, and we weren't ready for dinner, so I just let it sit in the crock pot and it did get overcooked. I think the taste overall was very good, and it was very simple to put together. Next time, I will not let it cook as long and I will add some water and possibly less meat. Overall, it was very good and we enjoyed it.
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef, browned
