Sorry my review is long but I hope it might help others! This meal turned out okay... but I think I'll make some changes next time. I used 3 large chicken breasts which were frozen. I did thaw them out in the microwave enough to easily remove from the package. I chopped up 2 large tomatoes from my mother's garden and half an onion. I added each on top of the breasts and then sprinkled the seasoning over everything. I only had half a packet of the taco seasoning so I also added some faquita seasoning but both together were still short of a full packet. I then set my crock pot on low for 8 hours. The chicken smelled delicious while cooking and my husband could hardly wait to dig in. After shredding, I sampled some and the chicken seemed to lack flavor. I cooked the shredded chicken an additional 30 min after "mixing" everything together a bit and that helped. We wrapped the chicken up in tortillas and added cheese and sour cream. Next time I'm going to thaw my meat first and pour a full packet of seasoning directly on the meat before adding the tomatoes and onion. I'm also curious to try the green chilies. My husband suggested cooking it with Green Giant's "mexicorn" - which we ended up having on the side.

Oh my this was to die for!!! I did put it over tortilla chips and garnished it with Mozzarella cheese, and sour cream. This was so easy to make and so cheap!! I am going to be making this a lot. Thank you so much!!!!!!!

This recipe is AMAZING!!! My DH (VERY picky with new recipes) LOVED this!! It will become a weekly meal in our house. It is SO easy. I left the chicken breasts whole, served them with a little of the tomatoes on top, Spanish rice (instant rice with the tomatoes mixed in) and corn bread muffins. This is SERIOUSLY..DELICIOUS!
